While the enraged Thing fights his fellow teammates, the fake scientist finds Reeds portal to the Negative Zone, revealing himself to be the Mad Thinker. In the meantime, the Torch escorts Sue and Crystal to a safe police station, while the Thing, determined to kill Reed, hunts him across the city. Mr. Fantastic manages to escape from the rampaging Thing, and finally figures who might be behind all this.
