A huge ceremony is held in Central Park to celebrate the Avengers most recent victory against the Mandarin, unaware of the Super-Adaptoid disguised as a common man amongst the crowd. Goliath proclaims Hercules a full-fledged Avenger, and at this point the Super-Adaptoid attacks them to prove their invincibly wrong. The Avengers defend themselves but the combined powers which the A.I.M. droid managed to adapt from the Avengers, are able to knock out even Hercules. It’s Quicksilver’s clever plan to defeat the Super-Adaptoid, by forcing him to use all his powers at once, creating a short circuit which destroys the robot.
