While Thor and his companions fight the gargantuan Fafnir, Odin watches from afar, promising a miracle, should Fafnir fall. And so, after a long a struggling battle, Thor unleashes a powerful thunderstorm, to cause the very ground beneath Fafnir to crumble, swallowing him deep inside the earth. After the evil king has fallen, it starts suddenly and miraculously to rain, bringing life back to the barren lands of Nastrond.
