Since A.I.M. scientists are afraid of their own leader, they deliver Captain America to MODOK, in order to carry on their own plan while they fight. Before engaging in an awesome battle, MODOK reveals to Cap and Agent 13 that he was merely a guinea pig to A.I.M. scientists, before becoming too powerful and proclaimed himself as their leader. Whilst they fight, A.I.M. scientists shot at MODOK, who activates the subs auto-destruction button with his remaining strength. Captain America and Agent 13 seize A.I.M.s escape sub, and watch the main base explode from a far.
