While the Kingpin continues with his campaign of crime, Spider-Man goes back into action and learns about the new underworld boss by some crooks. By tracking some of Kingpin’s goons, Spidey reaches his hideout, while other racketeers kidnap JJJ from his office. As Spider-Man breaks into the hideout, The Kingpin attacks him with laser beams shooting out of his cane, and knocks Spider-Man unconscious with some sleeping gas.
