The recently defeated Ulik stumbles by chance in Odin’s hidden cave, where Mangog is held prisoners for eons, buried under the very ground and of course Ulik releases the monstrous Mangog. Meanwhile on Asgard, Loki learns about the pending menace, but also that Odin is sleeping his Odin’s Sleep, giving him the opportunity to rule Asgard in his absence. Even tough Odin told Thor about a new menace last issue, the god of thunder takes his time on earth checking on Sif and wondering why Odin got so silent. In the Lands of the Norns, Balder is still Queen Karnilla’s ‘guest’.
