While Reed and the pregnant Sue take a little trip, the Watcher appears into the Fantastic Four HQ, warning on an imminent attack by the Silver Surfer. Sick of the human egoistic behavior, the Silver Surfer attacks human kind, in the attempt to unify them through a common foe. While the Torch and the Thing fight the rampaging Surfer, the Watcher reaches Reed and Sue, warning them too and teleports Mr. Fantastic back to NY. Meanwhile, the army launched a cosmic-energy-draining missile which almost kills the Silver Surfer, if not for the help provided by the Fantastic Four at last minute. The Silver Surfer apologizes and promises never to harm mankind ever again.
