The Fantastic Four decide to take a little vacation on a randomly chosen island in the South Pacific. On the very same island, some explorers discover an ancient spaceship base, belonging to the Kree, an ancient alien race and awake Sentry #459, protector of the base. After capturing the intruders, he protects the island with a vibro-screen barrier. The FF take off with their pogo plane, leaving Johnny behind, who prefers to stay in New York dating Crystal. Once they reach the island the plane loses control, but they manage to get through the barrier thanks to Sue’s forcefield, and get caught by the 15 feet tall Sentry.
The fight turns out to be too hard, so they contact Johnny which reaches them with Lockjaw’s teleporting skills. Battling the Sentry, the Human Torch accidentally hits the Kree’s main power supply beneath the island surface, causing a massive explosion which they barely escape thanks to Lockjaw’s teleporting abilities again. Sentry #459 stays on the exploding island, swallowed by the fire.
