Hawkeye and Hercules are the first ones to find out where the Black Widow is held hostage by some commies somewhere in Asia. As they reach the enemies base, they get attacked by the Red Guardian, which represents Captain America’s red counterpart. He tricks Hercules in a chamber where he gets exposed by the Psychotron, which makes him relive the epic battle against the many-headed Hydra. Without Hercules help, Hawkeye gets easily knocked out by the Red Guardian and imprisoned with the Black Widow, where he reveals to be her husband. In the meanwhile, the Avengers prepare for a rescue mission.
